Things to do to calm and relax your mind and body.

Deep Breathing
Deep breathing is not just relaxing. It is also been scientifically proven to positively affect the brain, heart, digestive and immune systems. Researches have shown that breathing exercises can have immediate effects by balancing pH of the blood or adjusting blood pressure. Most effective way to calm your mind down and relax your muscles is deep breathing using your
diaphragm and counting seconds. There is a very easy and extremely effective way to get into the breathing which relaxes every single muscle in your body. A simple exercise that you can perform at time of need, before bed time or whenever you feel like it during the day.
Exercise:
You lay in the bed or sit comfortable on a chair and take a deep breath, so that your stomach fills up with air and becomes big, and your chest stays still without any movement. Your chest stays movement-less during all breathing session. When you do this exercise for the first time, start with 4 second intervals and when you feel comfortable with it go to 5,6,7seconds. While you are taking air in count to four then hold the air for 4 seconds, blow air out in 4 seconds, keep still without air for 4 seconds and repeat steps.

The secret to happiness is very
simple.It is healthy body, mind
and healthy environment.
Happiness is a state of well-being
that encompasses living a good
life—that is, with a sense of
meaning and deep satisfaction.
Health and happiness go hand
in hand, and balanced body,
mind and healthy environment is
everything. If life is not balanced,
difficulties will arise which will
limit the progress and quality of life. One of the guiding principles of mind-body balance is the interconnection of all things.
